Ludington State Park Has Reopened!

Ludington State Park has reopened! After a large portion of the park has been shut down for upgrades, it is completed and now totally open. The upgrades included repaved roads, improved pedestrian walkways, as well as expanded parking areas. Additional trails and other upgrades were also completed during this time.

We recently visited to see it all for ourselves and took 20,000 steps exploring the 5,300-acre park. This included a walk out to the Big Sable Point Lighthouse, as well as going to the top.

After some more exploring, we made our way to one of our favorite spots at Ludington State Park and that is the Lost Lake Loop Trail. It is such a good hike with water views the entire way.

After finishing the hike we ended the day with over 20,000 steps taken so it was time to get ice cream and enjoy the sunset!
