The Pinckney State Recreation area was the perfect spot for us to paddle TEN LAKES in one day. That's a new personal record!

We took advantage of two days of perfect weather while in Ludington. Our trip started with a paddle to Big Sable Point Lighthouse, followed by a stop downtown and an epic sunset.

We spent a few days exploring Ironwood Michigan. Our trip began at the top of Copper Peak then followed the Black River waterfalls to Lake superior. After dinner and coffee in downtown Ironwood, we ended our adventure with a paddle.

We head to the Sault Seal Recreation Area, a place they grew up going to, for tubing and a friendly wager on a saucer race.

We set out for a snowy evening of night skiing before heading downtown Sault Ste. Marie for a pint.

Before shipping season ended, we followed the Burns Harbor through the Locks, raced to grab a pint, then caught back up with the ship as it made its way down the St. Mary's River.

We rode snowmobiles from Sault Ste. Marie across the Eastern Upper Peninsula on Trail #8, the famous snowmobile trail known for beautiful scenery and fast groomed trails.

We set out from Sault Ste. Marie on a mission to hit as many epic fall spots as possible before returning to the St. Mary's River to catch the sunset.
