Thanks for the Memories, August!
We had a month full of adventure throughout Michigan in August and it is hard to believe that it is now September.
Let us start of by saying that we do not feel like we wasted one minute of August. We went shallow water shipwreck diving, fat tire biking, fly fishing, paddled 10 lakes in one day, went camping, wakesurfing, hiking, surfing, went in Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and Lake Superior. Wow, thanks for the memories, August.
Let's start off by talking about paddling 10 lakes in one day. This did not happen by accident and we headed to the Pinckney State Recreation Area to get it done. Check out the full video here!
Another adventure that stands out this month is shipwreck freediving in Alpena. This was our first time freediving wrecks in this area. There are so many shipwrecks in and around Alpena so we picked two to explore during our trip, The Portland and The Shamrock. Check it out here!
One thing we have been trying to accomplish this summer is a 360 wakesurfing. Lets just say we havent mastered that yet!

We also made this TikTok about Higgins Lake and learned there are some very passionate people who want to say Torch Lake is better. We have a lot of amazing lakes in Michigan! You don't have to only like one!

We also had fun doing something a little different, and that was showing what it is like to live and play by Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon. Check it out and if this house becomes yours, invite us over for drinks on the deck!
